Look who I found! I found you today. Nothing can never slow or stop us from making loving connections with one another NOW. We prove this each time we take an extra moment to connect with a store clerk, look up an old friend, call an elder or send a thank you note to someone who has helped us on our path. The truth is, happiness and love are only ever, at most, a thought away.
I created this webpage to make it easier for you to start your own free hugs campaign.
Anyone can become part of the Free Hugs Campaign.
The Free Hugs Campaign is the world's campaign. To join it,
all you need to do is wear a free hugs button, hold a free hugs sign etc.
and the magic and fun begins!
Free Hugs Buttons!! I invite you to make a free hugs button and wear it any day, especially at events!
Doing so makes you 1000 times more approachable and, whether a person hugs you or not, they are undoubtedly touched by,
or amused that you would offer them.
Ideas:
-Make a homemade free hugs button! My favorite material is colored foam paper from a craft store.
You can also make them from cardboard, a file folder works well --the sky is the limit for you creative types!

Best Idea Ever! One can print and give away Free Hugs Stickers!! It is an absolute ball to have a pocket full of presents to give away!
The hugs start to multiply all around you --people send their friends for stickers, they hug each other, kids hug their Mothers, it never ends! I am a Louisiana native who has lived in Austin, TX for 30 years. I am a Social Worker/Mental Health Therapist who discovered the
original, official free hugs video on youtube years ago and decided to copy it at the Rolling Stones outdoor concert in Zilker Park.
800 hugs later a man told me he had lost his dog and I had made his day and I was cooked. I couldn't resist keeping on with the campaign!
I got the idea from a wonderful man named Juan Mann who started a ‘free hugs’ campaign in his home town in Australia in a pedestrian mall.
He held up a sign that said ‘free hugs’ and got a huge response….finding, as I do, that people are on the verge of loving connection at all times and it always a good idea to take advantage of their happiness. !
Here is the official Free Hugs video that clowns like me saw many years ago and copied the idea, thus joining the worldwide free hugs campaign !
