    The 7 Core Principles That Make Solutions Focused Brief Therapy Work
  1. If it’s not broken, don’t fix it.
    Only you decide what’s a problem—your therapist doesn’t label your life for you.
  2. If it works, do more of it.
    You’re already solving parts of your challenges—this model helps you amplify those wins.
  3. If it’s not working, try something different.
    Great-sounding solutions that don’t actually work? Time to pivot. Let’s find what does.
  4. Small steps = big results.
    You don’t need a life overhaul. One small step today can create waves of change.
  5. Solutions ≠ problem explanations.
    You don’t need to understand a problem to solve it. You just need to picture what life looks like without it.
